Louise has experience advising clients on various regulatory regimes such as the Payment Service Directive (PSD2); the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Electronic Communications Code (EECC). Outside of the UK Louise has advised International Regulators on the UK’s regulatory regime and assisted with their implementation of new regulatory frameworks (and associated legislation).

Louise has been involved in litigation at the Competition Appeal Tribunal, Court of Appeal and Administrative court. Most recently being a member of the core team that represented Heathrow in its Appeal of the CAA’s final decision and licence modifications for H7.

Louise also has a good understanding of public policy issues affecting regulated companies. Louise has experience advising and drafting individual and cross sectoral group responses to consultations.

Louise also has extensive experience advising clients on consumer protection, compliance issues as well assisting with formal contract reviews of regulated contracts.

Louise holds an LLM in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from the Open University. Louise joined Towerhouse as a Trainee Solicitor in 2018 and qualified in July 2020 as a Solicitor with the firm.

Louise frequently volunteers as a mentor for the Girls Network, under Towerhouse’s pro bono programme of work. Louise also has particular interest in the impact of new technologies, such as the future use of AI in the legal system and the global approach to regulation of the crypto ecosystem.
